Directed by Giovanni Capitello, a short film/documentary about up and coming musicians in New York City.
New York City, a place where musicians make their dreams a reality. The fast paced and bicultural city that spills with musical talent. Sound Engineer/Producer, Willie L. Armstrong kicks it off with working at the studio with his talent, Asha Nova in the booth. The second of the three musicians is dance club extraordinaire, DJ Michael Jaden. "Music is passion..." as he puts it. MJ shows off his talents spinning his music. MJ touches on how music energizes the soul, leaving you "compelled to dance". Up next is afro-contemporary drummer, Jorge Amorim. The true sweet sounds of music erupt from this Brazilian Composer/Percussionist. A mixture of afro/latin/jazz, this musician's level of creativity is magnificent. "Since I was a little kid, I always try to imitate the sounds of nature...", Jorge gathers different exotic instruments and portrays what you may hear outdoors. Jorge's believes that he was born to make music, and surly proves it.
